Angela qualified from Nottingham University in 1992 and has worked in many out-patient and sports settings since. She has worked in acute trauma centres and in orthopaedics treating the elective surgeries such as hip and knee replacements. Angela's sports involvement has included working with the Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, Leicester Panthers American Football Team and The English Schools Badminton Association.
Her own sporting interests include squash, swimming, dance and Pilates. She teaches 2 Pilates classes a week and is a member of the APPI. Angela has a number of physiotherapist’s working with her at the clinic all are CSP and HPC registered and maintain a high standard of CPD training. She would like to introduce you to them:
Angela Hill Physiotherapy was set up by Angela in 2004. Having worked in other private practices since 1995, she wanted to put her stamp on her own clinic which is Dronfield Physiotherapy based in Sheffield. Offered are physiotherapy treatments which are available in the clinic or if you are immobile, treatment can be carried out in the comfort of your own home. When you attend your first appointment; we will take a detailed history of your problem and carry out a physical examination on your joints, muscles, nerves and ligaments, this way we can identify the cause of pain.
Christine qualified from Stellenbosch University in South Africa in 1995 and came over to the UK in 2000.
She started working in Private Practice in 1997 and has developed her experience in a wide variety of sports,
orthopaedic and musculosceletal conditions , including post operative knee, hip and spinal surgery.
Her main aim in treatment is analyzing postural patterns and restoring normal movement.
She is also a trained Pilates Instructor with APPI. On a social aspect, She is married with 2 daughters and enjoys keeping active!
Lucy qualified from Southampton University in 2001 & worked in the NHS for 8 years gaining a wide variety of experience. She then specialized in Musculoskeletal work & went into the private practice sector.
She has enjoyed her post graduate training to include a qualification in Acupuncture for pain relief.
More recently she has also taken on a Chronic Pain Management speciality in addition to her musculoskeletal work. Lucy now specialises in 1-1 Pilates sessions and runs small group Pilates classes at the clinic.
Please note Lucy also uses Acupuncture treatments and is registered with the AACP.
I qualified from Sheffield Hallam university in 2008 and went straight into private practice. MSK has always been my main focus. I currently treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and post operative conditions including hip, knee, back and shoulder surgery.
I am also qualified in Pilates and acupuncture with a particular interest in treating headaches and migraines.
